Koru Games Reflection

In the Koru Games the sport I competed in was touch.

Our team won 9th position and we won 2 or 3 games.

I found the experience to be awesome because it's my first time doing koru games so i found it really awesome.

In terms of working with Individuals and Groups; my solo level is multistructural because i can interact with my team and people in my year level but not in a huge group.

For Teamwork; my solo level is unistructural because i can participate in a team ok but not to the point when i'm encouraging my team heaps and telling them what to do.

Individuals and groups
I need help to work in a group (with teachers or other students
I can work in a group with my friends.
I can work in a group with anyone in my  year level or team

I can respond positively to the needs of others
I can reflect on how well I work with the group and seek feedback on how I can improve
Teamwork

I need help to interact with others.

I need help to participate in a team.
I can interact with others one to one.

I can participate in a team.
I can interact with others in a small group.

I can participate and take responsibility in a team.

I can participate and take responsibility in a team and explain my choices in terms of team outcomes.
I can participate in creating healthy teams by taking responsibility and critical action.

Term 2 Book Review: Trash

The story is about some boys called Raphael, Jun jun/rat, and Gardo. They were dumpsite boys, They had no home, no money, and hardly any clothing. So basically close to nothing, Rat just scatters around in the trash and when he was scattering around, he found a wallet that had 1000 dollars in it. But when the police found out, the police wanted it as soon as possible, but they didn't give the money up to the police because they wanted to buy some clothes, food and all the stuff they need.

If you want to know more, then you have to read the book.

Careers Education C.V. Writing

CAREERS EDUCATION we have been learning to write a skills based Curriculum Vitae.

A skills based C.V. focuses more on the skills that we have,  rather than our work history.

Here is a link to our online Modelling Book that shows the process we have followed.

Three things that I have learned about writing a Curriculum Vitae are:

  1. That it takes time to get it finished

  1. That you need to do 2 or 3 pages

  1. That you need to put two or more people that you know

In Maths we have been using to: Use a coordinate system or the language of distance and direction to specify locations and describe paths.

Here is a link to our online modelling book. This shows all of the learning we have been doing.

EVIDENCE of my learning.

Here are some screenshots to show the IXL activities I have completed.

You can find evidence of my extended abstract problem solving tasks in my Maths Book.
The Figure it out activities that I completed were  called:
  • Going the distance
  • Clara’s Cowpats

My next step is to continue to apply what I have learned in a range of problem solving activities.
