Dear Diary

WALT: View the world form another person's point of view

Dear diary, Life in the trenches is horrible and the meals are anything but satisfying. Lying  there in the trench  with no protection really scares me. You  never know anyone could come down and kill me, My gun is useless, All my friends were shot too, My gun got snapped in half , So there goes my protection  I'm lucky i didn't die. I have been wearing my clothes for a long.... time, Never  been washed only when it rains, Like in war sucks. The main thing is I didn't die that's the main thing. Also that i was saved by Nipper the messenger dog. Next i knew i woke up in the hospital, In pain. Would I ever be able to go back to the front to fight for my country?.

My friends,My classmates and i did what kids do -

Running as fast as I can
Panting like I can't breathe
Zooming past Oleg and Kynan at the finish

The NZ Flag Change

                                    The NZ Flag Change
In my opinion I think we should change the flag because our current flag is getting old and the new flag represents our sports teams, our silver fern in NZ and its similar  to Australia.

                                       New Flag And Current Flag
I like the new flag design better than our current flag design because its more of a NZ flag and it does not look like Australia's.  I don't like our current flag design.

                                                                     Silver Fern
The silver fern is a national NZ icon also it can only grow in NZ and all of our NZ team have a silver fern on their uniform.  So In my opinion I think we should change the flag.

Title: Monday mornings

Author: marco fazzi

Genre: Short story

Settings: Home, School, Kitchen, Middle of the front garden

Characters: Josh is a teacher, He likes soccer, Josh did not like getting up on monday mornings

Plot: Josh didn't like getting up on Monday mornings because Josh didn't want to go to school and Josh wanted to stay at home. He got dressed, ate a huge bowl of cereal and got his stuff and went out the door.
In the middle of the front garden was a football. He kicked it through the hole in the fence but it smashed a window.
He reached school with a few minutes to spare. He went to his classroom, sat down at his desk and took out his books and pens. The kids came into the classroom and sat down.

The boys and girls said, 'Good Morning, Mr Millar.'

Josh Millar was actually a teacher.

Fav: My fav part was when josh kicked the ball through the hole of the fence
